Misti D. Smith, M.A., LPC, CRC, NCC, PEAT
Misti Smith, M.A, LPC provides counseling to individuals of various ages and life stages in the areas of anxiety, mood disorders, childhood behavioral concerns, and stress and anger management. She has extensive experience in counseling individuals with disabilities and brings care and support in helping clients to manage daily struggles and minimize stress. 

Mrs. Smith completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of South Carolina in 2003 and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling with an Emphasis in Mental Health Counseling at Webster University in 2006.  Misti is Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) by the SC Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists and is National Board Certified (NCC) by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). She has also completed additional training in the specialty of Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) by the Counsel for Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRCC).  Misti is also certified as a Play and Expressive Arts Therapist (PEAT) and incorportates these techniques into the counseling process.

Misti has worked as an Individual Counselor since 2006 in  both agency and private practice settings. She has provided psychotherapy to clients with a variety of therapeutic and mental health concerns.
